Textured Buttercream

I will never get over textured buttercream cakes! There is such a classic beauty to them that will never die, and the possibilities are endless. I love the creativity that I constantly see in other bakers. The first cake was my submission for the October challenge over at the Miso Bakes Project .  Be sure to go check out the other entries, they're all great and I have a cake crush on Miso, she is so talented at what she does!  This last cake was a sweet birthday surprise from a daughter to her mother, the famous chocolate cake with peanut butter filling.

Remember how I mentioned I was getting involved in an exciting project? Well now I am ready to share it with you.

There are so many amazing cake artists and bakers all over who I admire and respect. I stumbled upon the blog of the lovely Miso, and she was no exception. She is so talented! She started a cake challenge project and I knew I wanted to get involved. Each month she posts a challenge with certain guideline and then it is up to your own imagination to see what you can come up with!
