The Naked Cake....

 OK ...OK....so the proper name for this little beauty is Victorian Sponge Cake

But my husband called it the naked cake (due to the lack of frosting of course) 

and I fancy that name more! 

So let it be know throughout the land, that I Julie Herbert do now declare this cake to be hence called

The Naked Cake

Thus I have spoken, and so it must be!

But seriously, just look at this cake

I am in LOVE  with it

 Now will someone out there in blog land please get married and please ask for this cake so I can make another one!
